Hey there! Nice to meet you, I'm Tani :)

(pronounced TAH-nee) It's Japanese for "valley", though my mom just wanted me to have a Japanese spelling for my first name :P (Yes, I am hapa!)

Anyways! Welcome to my site! I'm a California-born girl with a heart for the great outdoors and experimenting in the kitchen! I love my family and friends more than anything, and just adore animals.

 

I also adore drinking tea in sweatpants :]

GROWING UP, I WAS THAT BACKSTREET-BOYS AND LIPSMACKERS-LIP-BALM OBSESSED GIRL WHO WAS BASICALLY PLANNING HER WEDDING SINCE SHE WAS 12. (Yay for the 90's!)

I started this company out of my love of paper and print design, and of course weddings. I love the positive vibe, the magical feeling of love in the air as the bride and groom say their "I do's", and the general sense of joy and sentimentality of the day.

 

As an introvert and lover of Brené Brown's teachings on empathy, I am a deep feeler. Seeing people get married and being with them as they take their first steps towards marriage brings me unexplainable joy. I love working alongside my wedding couples to help them realize their dream weddings.

I’VE OFTEN FOUND THAT CLIENTS BECOME FRIENDS DURING OUR TIME WORKING TOGETHER, AND I COULDN’T BE MORE EXCITED ABOUT THAT :)

  • I am mostly known for experimenting in the kitchen and exploring all kinds of new foods. I love baking and cooking (especially Japanese food, pasta dishes, BBQ, macarons, cheesecakes, and chocolate cakes)! I basically love eating everything :D
     

  • When I’m not busy serving my clients and loved ones, you can catch me playing games. I love board games, and certain video games like Zelda, Hollow Knight, Genshin, and Mario Odyssey! Most days you can find me in sweatpants drinking tea, experimenting in the kitchen, making chunky knit blankets, building adult Lego sets, or watching comedy shows like Seinfeld and Parks & Recreation.
     

  • People often refer to me as an endearingly awkward penguin. If you have awkward or embarrassing stories, let's bond over some XD
     

  • I love serving the world by providing comfort to others via creativity in many different forms.
     

  • I have such a heart for animals. I love donating to animal shelters and supporting rescuing pets!
     

  • The things I’m most passionate in life are serving my loved ones, taking self-care seriously and nourishing my body with the right foods (mostly so I can better serve others—you can't care for others until you care for yourself first!), and making time for life-giving activities (aka scheduling fun and education into my life).
     

  • As a graphic designer, I’ve been featured on Carats & Cake, Style Me Pretty, theknot.com, the Creative Empire Podcast, and have learned from and worked with brilliant and ultra-talented people like Christina Scalera (The Contract Shop), Reina Pomeroy (Reina & Co.), and Nicole Miyuki Santo!
